Supports power system studies and design for utility-scale renewable energy projects, including grounding, short-circuit, load-flow, arc-flash, protective coordination, ampacity, harmonic, and power-quality analyses. Builds system models, sizes medium-voltage collection cables, prepares technical reports, automates calculations, and supports interconnection studies. Works under senior engineer guidance while following IEEE, NESC, NEC, utility, quality, and safety standards.

Senior contributor on high-voltage substation design focused on protection & control and physical design. Lead QA/QC, redline and cross-check drawings, produce complex plans and specifications, mentor junior engineers, engage with clients, and perform occasional field visits (~10%). Serve as technical resource across projects and may act as Engineer of Record if eligible.

Lead physical design of high-voltage substations for renewable interconnections, producing AutoCAD drawings and 3D models, developing grounding, conduit, and equipment layouts, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, reviewing subconsultant work, and ensuring compliance with utility and safety standards. Mentor junior staff and manage fast-turn deliverables.
