Coordinate bed-to-bed air medical patient transports, liaise with hospital case managers, payors, and flight teams; verify insurance, secure SCAs and pre-authorizations; maintain customer relationships; support revenue cycle, sales, and compliance; provide operational coordination and documentation. Travel may be required.

Provide advanced pre-hospital life support and coordinated patient care during air transport, maintain electronic charting, attend mission briefings/debriefings, follow safety protocols, and comply with transport team scope of practice and state regulations. Be ready to arrive at call location within 45 minutes before wheels up.

Provide medical assessment, coordination, and delivery of patient care during air transport. Participate in preflight preparation, in-flight monitoring and documentation, post-flight handover, equipment management, quality reporting, and required annual competencies. Maintain communication with team, pilots, and receiving facilities; adhere to protocols, infection control, and patient privacy.

Coordinate end-to-end medical transport missions including client inquiries, quoting, scheduling, hospital bed admissions, documentation, and post-mission follow-up. Engage clients to drive conversions, collaborate with Aviation/Medical/Maintenance/Finance teams, meet performance and sales targets, maintain accurate records in internal systems, and ensure compliance with operational and aviation regulations in a 24/7 environment.

Lead a small revenue cycle team handling eligibility/authorization, billing and claims (CMS-1500), A/R and collections, denials and appeals, reconciliations, reporting, HIPAA compliance, and coordination with operations and hospital/insurer case managers to maximize cash collection and in-network utilization.
