The Lead Software Engineer will design and develop a secure SaaS product, collaborate with teams, ensure performance standards, participate in code reviews, and engage in the full software development lifecycle, focusing on energy efficiency solutions.

Lead the architecture and modernization of a complex enterprise SaaS platform while remaining hands-on with critical software design and development. Define technical direction, improve scalability, reliability, security, performance, and maintainability, and guide design and code reviews. Partner across engineering and product teams, resolve complex technical challenges, establish engineering standards, mentor engineers, and translate architectural strategy into practical delivery.

Processes customer incentive payments, prepares and reviews payment batches, performs bank and accounts payable reconciliations, researches discrepancies, and maintains accurate accounting records. The role supports payment fulfillment, 1099 and escheatment requirements, audit readiness, financial controls, and process improvements while collaborating with incentive processing and accounting teams.

Supports utility energy-efficiency programs for commercial new construction by engaging architects, builders, owners, and other market actors. Maintains project pipelines, audits buildings, evaluates HVAC and lighting systems, develops energy models, reviews construction drawings and codes, identifies sustainability opportunities, and supports measurement and verification. The consultant also contributes to program improvement, business development, and customer and partner collaboration.

Perform energy assessments and modeling for commercial/industrial facilities, quantify project economics, support implementation and measurement & verification, write technical reports, coordinate stakeholders, and travel locally up to 20%.

Leads technical projects supporting energy-efficiency studies and utility programs for commercial and industrial customers. Responsibilities include supervising staff, developing scopes, budgets, algorithms, calculation tools, and savings estimates; performing energy-savings analysis and measurement and verification; evaluating HVAC, natural gas, lighting, refrigeration, and building systems; reviewing technical deliverables; and preparing reports, proposals, and presentations for utility and regulatory stakeholders.

Leads technical projects supporting energy-efficiency studies and utility programs for commercial and industrial customers. Responsibilities include supervising staff, developing scopes, budgets, algorithms, calculation tools, and savings estimates; conducting energy-savings analyses and measurement and verification; reviewing technical work and reports; researching efficiency technologies; and presenting findings to utility and regulatory stakeholders. Requires expertise in natural gas and electricity end-use systems, Python or Excel, statistical analysis, and project management.

Process and validate rebate applications, perform accurate data entry and reporting, coordinate project activities and timelines, support program launches and system updates, resolve data discrepancies, maintain audit documentation, and recommend process improvements to ensure compliant, efficient program execution.

Lead client-facing marketing programs for utility and energy transformation initiatives. Manage integrated campaigns (email, paid media, digital, events, web), project plans, budgets, timelines, and cross-team coordination. Serve as primary client contact, present results, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring quality and on-time delivery.

Support C&I energy efficiency projects (RCx, virtual Cx, building tune-ups, audits) through data analysis, savings calculations, M&V, field verification, report writing, stakeholder coordination, and software-enhancement feedback.

Leads engineers delivering utility energy efficiency and demand-side management programs. Responsibilities include identifying energy-saving measures, performing energy modeling and economic analyses, supporting project implementation, verifying installations, preparing technical reports, managing quality control, maintaining client relationships, and mentoring junior engineers. The role requires oversight of multiple projects, customer and utility engagement, technical reviews, energy audits, retro-commissioning, and achievement of program energy savings goals.

The Energy Modeling Consultant reviews in-home energy audit data, calibrates energy models, finalizes equipment selections with customers, and ensures BPI-compliant quality assurance. The role conducts or supports field assessments and inspections, resolves QC findings, develops audit protocols, prepares performance reports, and collaborates with program managers, contractors, operations, IT, marketing, and customer service teams. The position is hybrid field and remote office work supporting Arizona energy-efficiency programs.

Lead and improve reporting and automation for Client Services by building and maintaining Tableau and Power BI dashboards, automating reports and reconciliations, expanding data warehouse and API integrations, performing SQL and database analysis, managing QC and governance, and collaborating with software/IT, clients, and vendors to drive reporting improvements.

Lead stakeholder engagement and communications for California market transformation programs; build and maintain partner relationships; coordinate outreach, materials, and meetings; track engagement and support cross-functional teams to advance energy efficiency initiatives.

Lead design and delivery of large-scale commercial and industrial energy-efficiency programs. Develop implementation plans, budgets, and forecasts; manage cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders; track and report deliverables; resolve client issues; and ensure programs meet goals, schedules, and budgets.

Lead data analysis efforts by building and maintaining dashboards, performing SQL queries and data quality checks, analyzing program data to inform recommendations, gathering user requirements, managing projects and UAT, training users, and providing technical support for reporting tools.

Serve as primary contact for community-based organizations and program partners to support utility energy efficiency programs. Conduct outreach, staff events, manage relationships, collect and maintain data and invoices, prepare reports, track project milestones and compliance, escalate issues, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful program execution.
