Provides technical leadership and mentorship to strengthen subnational public health surveillance data use in Nigeria. The role develops and automates epidemiological information products, analyzes SITAware and 7-1-7 performance data, improves data quality, trains government and partner teams, and translates surveillance findings into actionable preparedness and response decisions. The advisor also supports institutional planning, resource tracking, stakeholder engagement, reporting, and capacity transfer across participating Nigerian states.

Supports global public health legal work through supervised legal and regulatory research, policy analysis, drafting, comparative research, technical assistance, and partner coordination. The role translates complex legal issues into practical guidance, tools, presentations, and training materials for governments, public health teams, and international partners. It also tracks workstreams, deliverables, consultations, and policy developments across multiple jurisdictions.

Oversees finance, accounting, budgeting, reporting, compliance, internal controls, procurement, vendors, office operations, safety, and business continuity for RTSL’s China office. Advises the Country Director, manages external financial and professional service providers, ensures compliance with Chinese regulations and organizational policies, coordinates audits and risk mitigation, and connects the China office with global Finance, Operations, HR, Legal, IT, and program teams.
