Support management and execution of derivative strategies across insurance balance sheets. Assist trade lifecycle, collateral and liquidity management, hedge implementation, reporting, governance, and process improvement while liaising with risk, investments, actuarial, finance, legal, and external counterparties.

Lead strategic direction and governance for GAAP and Statutory accounting, reporting, and analytics for alternative investments and mortgage loans. Oversee monthly close, third‑party accounting vendor performance, technical accounting research, financial controls, stakeholder reporting, and talent development while driving process improvement and automation.

Lead the design, implementation, and maturation of a global third-party risk programme. Centralize governance, manage end-to-end vendor risk (onboarding, due diligence, monitoring, offboarding), own the ServiceNow TPRM platform, refine vendor tiering, deliver risk reporting to senior leaders, support incident response, ensure regulatory alignment, and drive continuous improvement with control partners.

Prepare and review quarterly and annual financial statements and regulatory filings across US GAAP, US Statutory, and Bermuda frameworks. Support group consolidation, intercompany eliminations, variance analysis, management and Board reporting, internal controls (J-SOX), audit requests, and technical accounting research. Mentor junior staff and collaborate with Actuarial, Treasury, and FP&A to ensure accurate, timely reporting.

Lead GAAP and Statutory accounting, reporting, and analytics for the derivatives portfolio. Oversee monthly close, vendor relationships, footnotes, journal entries, and collaborate with investment teams. Research accounting guidance, prepare analytics for finance leaders, ensure internal controls, support reinsurance cedants, and coach junior staff while driving process improvements.

Coordinate and drive external audits, regulatory examinations, and ICFR/J-SOX activities. Manage audit requests/PBCs, calendars, status reporting, issue tracking, and auditor/regulator interactions. Strengthen control documentation, evidence standards, and support control owners to ensure audit readiness and remediation.

Support preparation and delivery of quarterly and annual financial statements across US GAAP, JGAAP, US Statutory and Bermuda frameworks. Perform consolidation, intercompany schedules, variance analysis, management and Board reporting, regulatory filings, J‑SOX control activities, audit support, technical accounting research, and continuous improvement initiatives in a deadline-driven environment.

The Product Owner will manage team backlogs, prioritize deliverables, lead agile ceremonies, and ensure alignment with customer needs while fostering team development and collaboration.
