Summer actuarial internship designed to prepare students for actuarial careers through exposure to risk management, asset-liability management, financial reporting, modeling, and product in-force management. Ideal candidates are pursuing degrees in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or economics, with a minimum 3.2 GPA and strong analytical, communication, leadership, teamwork, business acumen, and learning agility skills.

Supports actuarial reporting, reserve calculations, capital modeling, regulatory filings, collateral calculations, and financial reporting across Bermuda EBS and US GAAP bases. Performs AXIS model runs, analyzes reinsurance data, maintains actuarial controls, prepares management reporting, and contributes to process automation. The role is part of an actuarial student program and requires progress toward professional actuarial qualifications.

Supports the structuring, pricing, analysis, and execution of U.S.-focused M&A, reinsurance, and other growth transactions. Evaluates transaction structures across regulatory, accounting, capital, risk, strategic, and competitive considerations. Partners with actuarial, finance, investment, operations, legal, and senior leadership teams to execute transactions, prepare committee materials, document pricing and underwriting assumptions, and ensure strategies align with company risk appetite.

Support global flow reinsurance pricing and underwriting across US and Asia: run and update pricing models, perform technical analysis and risk quantification, set in-force treaty rates, develop pricing methodologies, and provide timely technical support to underwriting, management and stakeholders.

Lead GAAP and Statutory accounting, reporting, and analytics for the derivatives portfolio. Oversee monthly close, vendor relationships, footnotes, journal entries, and collaborate with investment teams. Research accounting guidance, prepare analytics for finance leaders, ensure internal controls, support reinsurance cedants, and coach junior staff while driving process improvements.

Support management and execution of derivative strategies across insurance balance sheets. Assist trade lifecycle, collateral and liquidity management, hedge implementation, reporting, governance, and process improvement while liaising with risk, investments, actuarial, finance, legal, and external counterparties.

Lead strategic direction and governance for GAAP and Statutory accounting, reporting, and analytics for alternative investments and mortgage loans. Oversee monthly close, third‑party accounting vendor performance, technical accounting research, financial controls, stakeholder reporting, and talent development while driving process improvement and automation.

Lead accounting operations including monthly/quarterly/annual close, journal entries, reconciliations, variance analysis, audits, controls, and team management. Drive process improvements, automation, and partner with Finance, Actuarial, IT and external stakeholders to support reporting and strategic initiatives.
