Develops, tests, supports, and troubleshoots backend services, REST APIs, and cloud-based software for connected products. Implements C#/.NET features, integrates databases and messaging systems, writes automated tests, participates in code reviews and technical design, and provides production support. Collaborates across product, QA, operations, firmware, mobile, and engineering teams while improving software reliability, security, performance, and maintainability. The role emphasizes cloud-native development, distributed systems, microservices, and IoT platforms.

Owns financial control, statutory reporting, audits, reconciliations, tax compliance support, and internal controls across Belgium, the Netherlands, and the UK. Partners with tax, treasury, corporate controllership, auditors, and business leaders on legal entity changes, tax projects, compliance reporting, and process improvements. The role requires accounting or audit experience, professional finance qualifications, strong Excel and ERP skills, and knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and local statutory requirements.

Leads North American trade compliance programs covering tariff classification, FTAs, IMMEX, customs valuation, export controls, duty analytics, master data governance, and denied-party screening. Develops duty-saving strategies, internal controls, KPIs, audit readiness, and scalable compliance processes across the United States, Mexico, and Canada. Manages customs professionals and collaborates with supply chain, engineering, legal teams, and customs brokers. Travel of up to 10% may be required.
