Build and operate Resend’s scalable AWS platform, infrastructure, tooling, and self-service workflows. Responsibilities include infrastructure as code, platform standards, observability, reliability improvements, incident response, automation, and collaboration with engineers across the company. The role requires expertise in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, networking, delivery pipelines, and production operations, with opportunities to work on high-throughput systems and developer tooling.

Build and operate Resend’s scalable AWS platform, infrastructure tooling, self-service workflows, deployment standards, and observability systems. Improve reliability, performance, and security; participate in incident response; automate operational work; and partner with engineers to create reusable infrastructure solutions. The role requires extensive infrastructure, platform, or SRE experience, infrastructure-as-code expertise, cloud and distributed-systems knowledge, and strong communication in a remote environment.

Build and maintain developer tools, SDKs, CLI, MCP interfaces, integrations, and supporting backend services. Collaborate on API contracts, compatibility, testing, releases, documentation, and shared tooling. Support developers through GitHub issues and pull requests while designing reliable systems with authentication, retries, idempotency, rate limits, monitoring, and error recovery.
