Acts as the subject matter expert for generation controls across utility-scale renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and energy storage. Oversees control system design, integration, testing, commissioning, quality assurance, grid compliance, documentation, and troubleshooting. Coordinates with engineering, construction, clients, utilities, subcontractors, and project teams to meet technical, safety, schedule, and budget requirements. Provides technical guidance, reviews designs and contracts, manages QA/QC processes, supports training and warranty activities, and ensures compliance with NERC, IEEE, utility, and regional reliability requirements.

Lead the strategic architecture, development, governance, security, and operation of RES’s Microsoft Fabric and Azure data and AI platform. Design and deliver AI agents and services, establish engineering and evaluation standards, manage platform reliability and costs, and provide technical leadership in Python, SQL, APIs, software engineering, and LLMs. Partner with cybersecurity, vendors, executives, and global data teams to scale secure, governed AI capabilities across the renewable energy business.

Implements safety management systems on renewable energy and infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include developing site safety documentation, delivering training, inspecting work areas, investigating incidents, managing corrective actions, supporting emergency response and injury management, maintaining safety metrics, coordinating PPE and testing procedures, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and client requirements. Requires extensive travel to project sites and safe operation of company vehicles.
