The intern researches ERCOT market trends, analyzes actual-versus-forecast performance, maintains operational records, and assists with energy portfolio and asset economics activities.

Support renewable portfolio growth by providing market intelligence, commercial analysis, pricing and deal valuation, and origination support. Monitor organized power markets, evaluate project economics and market fundamentals, support transactions (PPAs, VPPAs, RECs, capacity), prepare executive materials, and collaborate with development, finance, legal, and commercial teams to recommend go-to-market strategies and pricing.

Assists with structuring and closing term natural gas sales, purchases, transportation, storage, and asset management transactions. Collaborates with trading teams to develop regional strategies, expand customer and pipeline relationships, optimize gas portfolios, create products and services, and evaluate transportation capacity positions. Requires natural gas origination or trading experience, Southeast pipeline and tariff knowledge, regulatory understanding, communication skills, and substantial travel.
