Design, build, and maintain backend services in Python and Java; lead gradual migration from Python to Java; develop RESTful APIs, work with microservices and distributed systems; ensure reliability, observability, testing, and performance; participate in architecture, code reviews, and cross-team collaboration in a fully remote environment.

Build and deploy AI features, fine-tune and maintain language and multimodal models (HuggingFace), create AI automations and agents, develop tools/frameworks, guide dataset creation, run R&D experiments from POC to production, and monitor model performance.

Own and operate the end-to-end data quality program: define SLAs, build dbt-based DQ tests across medallion layers, create DQ dashboards and run root-cause analysis. Maintain the enterprise data catalog and business glossary, capture metadata, lineage, and ownership, support governance for sensitive data, and act as the bridge between data and business teams to improve data discoverability and trust for analytics and AI.
