Design, build, and scale secure backend systems for a fintech product using PHP and Laravel or Symfony. Develop REST APIs, optimize MySQL/MariaDB databases, maintain Docker-based CI/CD environments, implement testing and security practices, monitor performance, and contribute to architecture and technical decisions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, translate business requirements into solutions, conduct code reviews, and mentor developers.

Own end-to-end business analysis for a financial services engagement. Elicit and document requirements, analyze systems, processes, data flows, and integrations, and maintain traceable business and technical specifications. Facilitate stakeholder workshops, identify risks and dependencies, support Agile delivery, validate solutions through UAT, and resolve implementation issues. Represent the team with client stakeholders while escalating strategic decisions to the Product Manager.

Acts as a Business Analyst and Proxy Product Owner, owning backlog refinement, user stories, acceptance criteria, sprint planning, release scope, roadmap input, bug triage, and wireframes. Serves as the liaison between client stakeholders and engineering teams, translating business requirements into actionable delivery work. The role requires Agile and Scrum expertise, strong requirements documentation, communication skills, and experience with software delivery teams. It is fully remote within a distributed international environment.
