Leads software engineers and provides technical direction across the software development lifecycle. Designs and develops scalable, cloud-first, event-driven applications, Python APIs, integrations, automation, data platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code solutions using AWS. Mentors engineers, conducts design and code reviews, collaborates with stakeholders, leads troubleshooting and production support, and delivers solutions through Agile methodologies.

Perform actuarial corporate reporting and valuations (US GAAP/LDTI, US STAT/PBR, local statutory), support monthly/quarterly closings, assumption reviews, process controls, financial projections, and cross-functional communication with pricing, finance, and risk teams.

Leads a team of underwriters responsible for complex group life and disability insurance risks, with approval authority up to $20 million. Oversees underwriting quality, profitability, compliance, workflow, and process improvement. Serves as an underwriting subject matter expert and key client contact, collaborating with business development, pricing, claims, actuarial, and account management teams. Manages client relationships, analyzes data, supports special projects, and handles hiring, coaching, performance evaluation, and associate development. Travel to meetings, clients, and prospective clients is required.
