Own the technical direction and implementation of authentication, authorization, and on-behalf-of delegation for Redpanda’s agentic AI platform. Extend its OAuth authorization server and token vault, build auditable delegation systems, and federate with enterprise identity providers such as Okta, Entra, and Ping. Lead technical decisions across multiple engineering teams, track emerging agent identity standards, collaborate with security and product teams, mentor engineers, represent technical positions externally, and deliver production-hardened systems.

Lead two globally distributed engineering pods responsible for Redpanda Cloud’s customer-facing surfaces and commerce systems. Hire and build the Warsaw team, manage the Americas team, own roadmap delivery, and partner across Product, Design, Finance, and customer-facing functions. Oversee billing, metering, payments, marketplace integrations, reliability, incident response, career development, and cross-team execution while maintaining high standards for correctness, operational excellence, and asynchronous collaboration.

Lead engineering for Redpanda’s governed AI data plane, owning the roadmap and execution for AI gateways, MCP/tool governance, agent identity, policy enforcement, and auditability. Partner with Product, Sales, Customer Engineering, and design partners to convert early product development into production deployments. Build and mentor a 15–20-person team, establish AI-first engineering practices, manage performance and recruiting, and shape the company’s technical strategy and engineering culture.
