Redpanda Data Benefits Overview

Leads a cloud engineering team responsible for Redpanda Cloud, BYOC, Serverless, and Agentic Data Plane initiatives. Owns roadmap delivery, operational excellence, incident response, SLOs, and day-two operations while partnering with Product and customer-facing teams. Coaches, develops, hires, and retains engineers; translates product priorities into engineering plans; manages risks and dependencies; and drives reliable, high-quality launches across distributed cloud services.

Build production-grade AI agents, integrations, data pipelines, and infrastructure directly within strategic customer environments. Engineers rapidly navigate unfamiliar codebases and data stacks, own technical delivery through production deployment and handoff, communicate credibly with customer engineering teams, document and train users, and feed recurring engagement insights back to Product and Engineering. The role requires 30–50% travel during active engagements and emphasizes backend systems, agent integrations, real-world deployments, and maintainable customer outcomes.

The Solutions Engineer partners with sales to qualify and close opportunities, deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations, lead proof-of-concepts, prototype integrations, and address customer objections. The role collaborates with product, engineering, and support teams to solve customer challenges and improve adoption. Candidates should understand streaming infrastructure, Kafka, Linux, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms, and be willing to travel for customer meetings and events.
