Analyze corrections and parole administrative data using SQL and Python, model policy scenarios, quantify tradeoffs, and communicate findings to criminal justice decision-makers. The role owns analytical projects end to end, from scoping and strategy through modeling, stakeholder materials, and implementation support. Analysts collaborate with state partners, identify opportunities for further analysis, and develop reusable analytical frameworks to influence policy reforms.

Build and manage relationships with state correctional agencies and justice-system stakeholders. Understand partner needs, adapt product offerings and data analysis, communicate requirements to cross-functional teams, and drive measurable impact and financial sustainability. The role requires frequent travel to meet state officials and visit prisons and parole offices, along with navigating challenging environments and supporting technology-enabled change.

Conducts exploratory and defined analyses of criminal justice datasets, identifies trends and discrepancies, prepares analytical data for state product launches, and builds documented visualizations and dashboards. The analyst communicates findings to internal teams and state partners while collaborating with senior analysts and engagement teams. Responsibilities include cleaning real-world data, supporting product launches, evaluating product impact, and developing expertise in assigned states’ data, policies, and products.
