Leads planning and execution of complex avionics hardware programs from prototype development through qualification, certification, production readiness, and customer delivery. Owns schedules, milestones, risks, dependencies, defects, corrective actions, supplier coordination, and cross-functional execution. Requires strong hardware systems knowledge, project leadership without direct authority, and experience with Jira, Microsoft Project, phase-gated development, and Agile/Scrum.

Leads formal qualification testing for airborne hardware and software systems. Develops test procedures and reports, coordinates laboratories, equipment, schedules, regulatory authorities, suppliers, and OEMs, and supports FAA and EASA compliance. Performs failure analysis, corrective-action documentation, technical reviews, and test readiness activities. Mentors junior engineers and requires hands-on experience with environmental, vibration, acceleration, and EMI testing in an AS9100 quality environment.

Leads planning and execution of mid-sized avionics projects involving engineering, operations, quality, and suppliers. Manages schedules, milestones, risks, deliverables, resources, budgets, documentation, and vendor relationships. Facilitates design reviews, resolves technical and allocation issues, improves project management processes, and trains teams on project tools. Independently leads complex, multi-team initiatives and influences department-level decisions.
