Designs and engineers AWS cloud-native application components, develops solution prototypes, writes Python and JavaScript, and establishes reusable architecture patterns. Provides AWS expertise, developer coaching, code reviews, implementation guidance, and development standards. The role requires large-system application design experience, AWS service expertise, object-oriented programming, APIs, containers, databases, CI/CD, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. It is remote with standard Eastern Time work hours.

Designs and leads cloud-native AWS data architecture for Medicaid and healthcare domains. Responsibilities include developing enterprise and domain data models, canonical models, metadata governance, data mappings, data quality and mastering processes, AWS prototypes, operational data stores, and implementation strategies. The role collaborates with governance committees, business owners, architects, developers, database administrators, and implementation teams while supporting compliance with PHI and PII protection requirements.

Develops and maintains enterprise architecture strategies, roadmaps, standards, data governance processes, and architectural models for Health and Human Services and Medicaid environments. Collaborates with business and technology teams to define high-level solutions, assess conformance with enterprise and SOA patterns, lead architecture adoption, support proof-of-concept initiatives, and ensure secure technology implementations. The role requires strong facilitation, communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
