The role also contributes to CI/CD, infrastructure, observability, and automated testing within an Agile development environment.

Manage and optimize Rakuten Kobo’s global paid search program across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising. Responsibilities include campaign execution, budget pacing, bidding, keyword and audience strategy, Shopping/PMax management, testing, performance analysis, and reporting across multiple markets and business lines. The role partners with SEO, analytics, creative, eCommerce, media, and agency teams to improve CPA, ROAS, revenue, profitability, and overall search performance.
