Teams at Raising The Village

Provides regional technical leadership for crop and livestock extension programs across multiple districts. Designs climate-resilient agricultural interventions, supports adaptive clusters, advises on soils, pests, planting, fertilization, harvesting, and post-harvest management, and coordinates seed specifications with Procurement. Leads training for staff, government extension officers, and community champions; oversees agricultural pilots, demonstration gardens, data collection, reporting, risk mitigation, and regional work planning. The role requires extensive travel, local-language fluency, and strong agricultural facilitation skills.

Coordinates applied learning activities in Tanzania, including translating program materials into Kiswahili, documenting methodologies and lessons learned, managing knowledge resources, facilitating program reviews, developing staff training, and supporting qualitative research. The role analyzes field insights, coordinates consultants and contractors, supports evidence-based program adaptation, and strengthens frontline staff capacity. It is based in Bukoba, requires frequent travel to field offices and communities, and may involve relocation within Tanzania.

Leads district-level implementation of integrated development programs across rural Tanzania. Manages project delivery, government and stakeholder coordination, multidisciplinary teams, budgets, procurement, logistics, inventory, reporting, and performance dashboards. Ensures targets, cost controls, implementation quality, data accuracy, and sustainability benchmarks are achieved. The role requires extensive field travel, strong supervisory ability, analytical skills, and coordination with district and village authorities.
