Provide in-store and remote customer support and sales: prepare quotes, input orders into POS, operate cash register, manage inventory and merchandising, coordinate deliveries and special orders, resolve customer issues, assist outside sales, develop estimating skills, and maintain safety and store appearance.

Sell R.P. Lumber Co. building materials to contractors, developers, realtors and homeowners in an assigned territory. Generate leads, visit job sites, read blueprints, estimate quantities, prepare quotes and contracts, manage accounts, track inventory, collaborate with store and management teams, and attend trade shows. Maintain customer relationships and resolve product or delivery issues.

Provide customer support and quotes in-person, by phone, and electronically; enter and balance orders in POS; maintain merchandising and inventory; assist with deliveries, estimating, and loss prevention; collaborate with outside sales and managers; perform showroom/warehouse physical tasks and follow safety procedures.
