Reviews shipments moving across docks to verify shipment class accuracy against bill of lading information, helping ensure the company receives appropriate freight revenue. The role requires analytical and computer skills, self-management, willingness to learn, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Prior less-than-truckload experience is preferred but not required.

Manage all service center operations, including financial performance, staffing, employee development, customer retention, productivity, safety, security, loss prevention, facility conditions, freight handling, reporting, and policy enforcement. The role requires leadership in a fast-paced LTL environment, knowledge of transportation and regulatory requirements, logistical and organizational skills, communication abilities, computer proficiency, and familiarity with the local area.

Sell LTL transportation services through personal sales targets, new business development, account relationship management, and customer problem-solving. Educate customers on available services, grow market share in targeted lanes and industries, prepare sales presentations, contracts, and proposals, monitor market trends and competitors, and promote the company’s image and culture within the assigned territory.
