Teams at Quantum

Provides expert technical support for Quantum storage solutions, troubleshooting customer environments, isolating product and ecosystem issues, and guiding solution implementation. Designs enterprise storage architectures across industry verticals, supports backup, recovery, archival, replication, and media workflows, and collaborates with customers, partners, and engineering teams. The role requires bilingual English and German communication, UNIX and storage administration expertise, customer relationship management, technical sales support, and participation in weekend on-call rotations.

Lead product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle for ActiveScale object storage. Define vision, translate customer needs to requirements, prioritize features, collaborate with Engineering and cross-functional teams, engage customers and partners, and own go-to-market, pricing, and launch activities for large-scale, hybrid-cloud storage solutions.

Design and implement automated functional, system, and end-to-end tests for deduplication, ingest/restore performance, data integrity, and protocol behavior. Build and maintain automation frameworks integrated with CI/CD. Develop tests for storage protocols, REST APIs, security features, cloud tiering, and replication. Configure qualification environments (appliance labs, VMware, Hyper-V) and integrate with backup apps. Triage defects and track resolution via Jira in an Agile workflow.
