Design, implement and train ML and quantum/hybrid ML models to improve calibration, control and error correction for photonic quantum systems. Benchmark classical, quantum and hybrid methods, contribute to the MerLin framework, publish and present research, and mentor junior researchers while shaping the AI research agenda.

Support end-to-end coordination of academic and scientific events, manage logistics and participant communication, act as event contact, and produce clear project materials, reports, and updates. Assist with tracking project actions, maintaining visibility on activities, and improving simple team tools and templates.

Design, develop, and manage electronic boards from requirements through integration, validation, and production transfer. Develop embedded firmware and Python tools, maintain configuration and traceability, define validation strategies, and produce technical documentation to support integration and manufacturing.
