Support daily invoicing, billing, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and collections. Maintain digital filing, assist financial reporting and general ledger tasks, and perform administrative duties for the Finance Department.

Manage the full sales cycle: prepare and track proposals, build client relationships, research market needs, identify new business, present tailored offers, provide post-sales support, and maintain CRM records.

Prepare, draft, and submit high-quality technical proposals for European Commission-funded service contracts. Analyze tenders, structure technical proposals, develop methodologies, workplans, QA and risk strategies, coordinate consortium inputs, ensure compliance with EC procurement rules, and perform final quality reviews before submission.

Provide expert guidance on ESG and CSRD reporting, support data collection, analysis and validation, prepare and review sustainability disclosures, conduct materiality assessments and stakeholder engagement, and integrate ESG into corporate strategy while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Provide consultancy to laboratories for achieving and maintaining accreditation (e.g., ISO/IEC 17025, ISO 15189). Conduct gap analyses, develop and implement quality management systems, prepare labs for assessments, review documentation, deliver staff training, and keep clients updated on accreditation regulations and best practices.

Provide project-based cybersecurity assessments, audits, and tailored security strategies. Advise on risk management and incident response, collaborate with client teams, produce reports, and stay current on threats and solutions.

Provide on-demand advisory support to CISOs and security teams: develop and review policies, assess and mitigate risks, support incident response, ensure regulatory and framework compliance, and recommend security tools and strategies.

Lead design of complex, data-driven solutions for a large chemical and regulatory data ecosystem. Define end-to-end functional and data models, perform advanced data profiling, architect integration-aware solutions, and ensure compliance with regulatory and FAIR metadata principles as the subject-matter expert for chemical/scientific datasets.

Provide freelance IT governance and ITSM support: assess frameworks, develop and implement processes/policies (ITIL, COBIT, DAMA, ISO20000), recommend optimizations, run audits, and deliver workshops and training using ITSM tools.

Provide expert guidance to clients on business continuity and resilience: assess existing plans, design and implement tailored strategies, run training exercises, document findings, advise on regulatory requirements, and monitor environmental changes to update plans.

Freelance contractors will design and deliver IT and digital transformation solutions, implement EU-funded initiatives, develop or maintain software and cybersecurity frameworks, support project planning/reporting and quality assurance, and advise on IT governance and compliance for European institutions and international organizations.

Design, build, and operate scalable ingestion-to-publishing data pipelines for high-volume chemical datasets. Implement data quality frameworks, observability and monitoring, support streaming and batch systems, troubleshoot operational issues, and maintain large-scale data engineering environments.

Support sales and finance teams with daily operations: client communication, proposal and invoice preparation, bookkeeping, account reconciliations, record maintenance, and administrative tasks while developing professional skills in a consulting environment.
