Hands-on QA Engineer responsible for manual and automated testing across backend APIs, frontend UIs, and end-to-end restaurant technology workflows. Reviews AI-generated test cases and plans, maintains TypeScript and Playwright automation, performs exploratory testing, investigates flaky or failing tests, and validates releases. Partners with developers and product managers while improving AI-assisted testing practices, test coverage, CI/CD reliability, and quality gates.

Owns quality assurance for physical POS and payment hardware. Builds and maintains a customer-like hardware lab, certifies devices, firmware, and operating systems, tests payment flows on real terminals, evaluates performance and network resilience, reproduces field issues, maintains test cases, and automates repeatable checks. The role requires extensive hands-on device testing, payment integration expertise, lab troubleshooting, and regular on-site work in Atlanta or Washington, DC.

Designs, deploys, documents, monitors, and diagnoses cloud-based distributed services and client applications. Provides escalation support, supports AI-enabled software development, manages scaling and databases, maintains CI/CD environments, tests APIs, and monitors application releases and dependencies. The role collaborates across development and operations teams in a fast-moving product company.
