Design, fabricate, and characterize superconducting qubits; develop fabrication processes to improve coherence and yield; perform cryogenic measurements; build qubit control and readout hardware; analyze performance data; collaborate with partners and internal teams on hardware integration.

Administer corporate IT infrastructure, cloud systems, identity, device management, backups, and security controls. Develop Python libraries for quantum hardware control and agentic software supporting laboratory data pipelines. Manage GitHub repositories and CI/CD automation while enforcing zero-trust, DLP, and NIST compliance frameworks. Collaborate with physicists to improve research and development workflows. This is an autonomous, onsite engineering role in Madison, Wisconsin.
