Provides senior mechanical engineering support across high-hazard energy and industrial sites. Responsibilities include asset integrity, reliability, statutory compliance, maintenance and shutdown support, project delivery, technical documentation, audits, management of change, budget and KPI oversight, and leadership of personnel and contractors. The role also supports plant developments, operational incidents, improvement initiatives, and 24/7 site operations.

Supports multiple engineering projects throughout the project lifecycle, with primary responsibility for document control, client documentation, technical manuals, and MRB compilation. Coordinates documentation workflows, tracks deliverables and KPIs, prepares status reports, supports project meetings, and manages actions and risks. The role also provides line management to a Project Controller and supports quality compliance, document formatting, and timely completion of project requirements.

Leads technical and process safety activities across engineering projects from concept and FEED through commissioning. Oversees HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, SIL, HAC, consequence modelling, fire and explosion assessments, and risk mitigation. Reviews safety calculations, specifications, drawings, and reports; provides technical input across process, mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines; ensures regulatory and client compliance; and represents the company in design reviews, audits, incident investigations, and client meetings.
