Develops and updates 2D and 3D mechanical drawings for U.S. Navy submarine programs using AutoCAD. Creates installation and arrangement drawings, maintains material lists, interprets government-furnished information, performs ship checks, updates redlines, conducts self-checks, and supports design reviews. Requires occasional travel to naval installations, confined-space work, and ladder climbing. The role is performed under senior guidance and offers advancement through training and experience.

Develop and maintain Java and JavaFX applications, testing and simulation utilities, and web-service migration solutions for air-gapped tactical environments. Build, containerize, and validate software using Podman before deployment to K3s infrastructure. Diagnose Linux host, networking, operating-system, and application issues in STIG-compliant environments. Work independently across design, integration, verification, and release activities while using automated build and CI/CD tooling.

Develop and maintain integrated standalone applications in a Linux environment using Agile practices. Collaborate on software tasking, tickets, repositories, requirements analysis, design, documentation, debugging, hardware adaptation, interface upgrades, performance improvements, GUI development, real-time data streaming, backend integration, and algorithm engineering. The role requires strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills, plus eligibility to obtain a Secret government security clearance.
