Teams at Pursuit

Owns delivery of a state-funded, multi-year workforce initiative across three New York regions. Manages workforce, higher education, employer, and economic development partners; oversees grants, contracts, reporting, compliance, subrecipient monitoring, and audit readiness; translates commitments into project plans; coordinates cross-functional execution; manages risks, timelines, and deliverables; and represents Pursuit externally. Builds repeatable partnership processes and operating models while using AI tools to improve tracking, drafting, synthesis, and reporting.

Own and build Pursuit’s people function as a hands-on HR leader. Responsibilities include full-cycle recruiting, employer branding, culture and employee experience, compensation and incentive design, HR operations, compliance, benefits, payroll coordination, performance management, and employee relations. The role partners with leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, talent strategy, and scaling the people function beyond 100 employees.

Own top-of-funnel lead generation by building community partnerships, managing paid and referral channels, tracking lead and applicant performance, and optimizing conversion. Represent Pursuit at community events and partner meetings across NYC, maintain dashboards, coordinate alumni referrals, and use AI tools to automate outreach, reporting, and data cleanup. The role requires strong relationship-building, organization, data fluency, follow-through, and commitment to expanding economic opportunity.
