Supports the Data Centre Manager with daily operations across two data centres, including incident resolution, client and third-party support, infrastructure monitoring, cabling, stock management, contractor coordination, health and safety, and compliance. Mentors Data Centre Services Engineers, performs remote and smart hands activities, supports project handovers, and participates in an on-call rota.

Leads procurement strategy, policy, sourcing, tendering, supplier negotiations, contract development, cost savings, risk management, and vendor performance. Manages and develops procurement staff while partnering with stakeholders across the business. The role drives category management, supplier rationalization, process improvements, compliance, and strategic commercial relationships across goods, services, and IT-related spend.

Drives operational excellence across 14 UK data centres by developing SOPs, supporting facilities-management compliance, monitoring audit requirements, managing risk-related improvements, delivering training, maintaining procedure libraries, and producing KPI and operational performance reports. The role promotes consistent standards, energy efficiency, sustainability, health and safety, and continuous improvement while collaborating with stakeholders across the business.
