Teams at Proxima Fusion

Designs and develops high-power millimeter-wave RF components for fusion plasma heating. Responsibilities include solving RF engineering challenges, evaluating vendor designs, integrating components with stellarator systems, performing thermal-mechanical and multiphysics analyses, and supporting laboratory testing and prototype validation. The role requires collaboration with physicists, project teams, and vendors to deliver reliable components for the Alpha stellarator.

Provides administrative support to the Leadership Team by coordinating calendars, booking travel, arranging logistics, tracking expenses, preparing meeting documents, taking notes, and managing recurring internal meetings. The role requires strong organization, discretion, reliability, communication, flexibility, and proficiency with productivity tools in a fast-paced environment.

Develop and industrialize manufacturing processes for high-temperature superconducting magnet coils. Responsibilities include designing and validating tooling, fixtures, assembly sequences, work instructions, process controls, inspection methods, and quality systems. Lead prototype builds, NPI campaigns, process trials, root-cause analysis, supplier qualification, engineering change control, and the transition from prototype to serial production. Collaborate with design, materials, quality, supply chain, and test engineering teams in a high-precision manufacturing environment.
