Conduct admission, concurrent, and retrospective utilization reviews to determine appropriate patient status and medical necessity per payer and accreditation regulations. Track, evaluate, and report UM data, collaborate on process improvement, and ensure regulatory and reimbursement compliance to expedite billing and prevent sanctions.

Prepare meals for all diet types, forecast/tally food production, assist clinical dietitian(s) and diet technician(s), communicate with patients and care teams about meal preferences and prescribed diets, run the tray line, pass trays, and provide high-quality customer service.
