Monitors hospital parking, building access, entrances, visitors, badges, and visitor policy compliance. Conducts in-person screening and video surveillance, performs dispatch and visitor management duties, and supports Security Services and Emergency Management. May use radios, visitor management software, cameras, and detection systems to help prevent workplace violence. Provides customer service as the first point of contact for hospital visitors.

Provides protective security services in a healthcare facility, safeguarding patients, visitors, staff, physicians, property, and facilities. Enforces security policies, investigates potential criminal conduct, responds to emergencies, assists with patient restraints, detains individuals when necessary, and protects high-risk areas. May support affiliated Providence organizations during local emergencies.

The Assistant Nurse Manager, a professional Registered Nurse, supports the unit director by managing clinical and operational activities, coordinating services, evaluating unit performance, and providing leadership across shifts in the operating room. The role requires an Alaska RN license, BSN or equivalent nursing education, and BLS certification. Acute-care clinical, charge nurse, leadership, and shared governance experience are preferred.
