Ensures accurate patient account and claims data for timely billing and reimbursement. Monitors electronic claims transmissions, researches and resolves clearinghouse rejections, and maintains compliance with government billing regulations. Coordinates registration, claim edits, and follow-up activities while communicating with insurers, government payers, healthcare staff, physicians, and patients to resolve billing issues and patient accounts.

Prepares menus for various diet types, forecasts daily food production, and assists clinical dietitians and diet technicians. Communicates directly with patients about meal preferences and dietary needs while delivering quality customer service. The role requires a food handler card and customer service experience; healthcare food service experience is preferred. Part-time and full-time openings are available at a regional medical center.

Processes full-board and expedited IRB reviews, adverse events, protocol modifications, informed consent forms, and other human-subjects research activities. Analyzes regulatory submissions, supports IRB members, advises researchers, and serves as a liaison to ensure compliance with regulatory and institutional requirements. This intermediate-level role requires proficiency in HRPP and IRB operations.
