Design engineering role bridging customers (boat OEMs) and manufacturing: create manufacturable designs, engage customers regularly, drive continuous improvement, diagnose and prevent quality issues, produce CAD models/renderings and work instructions, implement new technologies, and respond to customer communication within four work hours.

Develop, maintain, and optimize CNC programs and CAM processes; mentor shop technicians; drive run-time reductions and manufacturability improvements; diagnose quality issues; implement tooling/software upgrades; maintain work instructions and respond to internal customers promptly.

Own technical production areas, design and improve manufacturing processes, implement equipment and process improvements, create work instructions, diagnose quality issues, support production handoff, film/analyze operations, deliver multiple multi-week improvement projects per year, engage with customers and attend industry events, and champion lean manufacturing and continuous improvement on the shop floor.
