Teams at Protolabs

Leads the software engineering, applied ML, and technical product teams responsible for Protolabs’ enterprise pricing engine and supporting services. Owns the pricing capability roadmap, architecture, rules-based and model-driven decisioning systems, and production LLM capabilities. Oversees solution design, development, testing, governance, reliability, and continuous improvement while partnering with pricing analysts and service-line leaders. Hires, mentors, and develops a cross-functional technical team.

Build, deploy, and maintain production machine learning models and pipelines for intelligent pricing, real-time quoting, demand forecasting, cost estimation, and partner routing. Monitor and improve model performance through experimentation, A/B testing, backtesting, drift detection, and retraining. Collaborate with engineering, product, data, and domain teams, mentor engineers, and apply machine learning advances to manufacturing marketplace challenges.

Provides comprehensive executive support to the Managing Director, including calendar, travel, meetings, correspondence, governance tracking, and confidential information management. Oversees office administration, workplace operations, facilities, vendors, procurement, employee onboarding support, events, and administrative reporting. Coordinates service providers, monitors budgets and invoices, maintains records, and improves workplace processes and employee experience.
