Teams at Protex AI

Lead and grow a multidisciplinary computer vision engineering team while remaining hands-on with code and architecture. Set technical direction for production computer vision, deep learning, edge deployment, real-time video processing, and vision-language models. Own delivery from scoping through deployment, coordinate cross-functional dependencies, improve development and release workflows, and resolve production detection-quality issues. Hire, coach, establish engineering standards, and connect model quality to customer outcomes.

Lead infrastructure engineering across cloud and edge environments. Design CI/CD pipelines, scalable observability systems, and reliable globally distributed platforms. Manage Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS services, environment parity, regional deployments, cloud security, compliance, and cost optimization. Support developer experience, real-time and IoT infrastructure, and cross-functional engineering teams while mentoring others and influencing technical direction.

Build and maintain client-specific software, data pipelines, backend infrastructure, integrations, and prototypes for enterprise industrial environments. Architect scalable data systems, connect ERP, CMMS, BI, edge, camera, PLC, and hardware platforms, validate deployments, and ensure data integrity and reliability. Serve as the technical bridge between clients and core engineering teams, provide technical leadership in Boston, and feed deployment learnings into the product roadmap. Travel to client sites and Dublin periodically.
