Teams at Prospect Schools

Provides targeted reading and literacy instruction to middle and elementary students through daily classes and small-group support. Responsibilities include designing culturally responsive lessons, using student data, creating supportive classrooms, collaborating with instructional teams, communicating with caregivers, and supporting students’ academic and social-emotional growth. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree, prior teaching experience, science of reading experience, and a New York teaching license or progress toward certification. Special education certification is preferred.

Supports high school students through targeted interventions, small-group or individual instruction, and data-informed educational planning. Manages IEPs by coordinating documentation, accommodations, progress reports, related services, and compliance. Builds partnerships with students, families, teachers, and support teams, participates in MTSS processes, and contributes to staff professional development and an inclusive school culture.

Provides targeted small-group Math and ELA instruction to Tier 2 and Tier 3 elementary students, delivers SETSS aligned with IEPs, manages caseloads, writes and monitors IEPs, tracks student progress, communicates with families, collaborates with service providers and support teams, and participates in professional development.
