Lead internal and client-facing biotechnology projects involving optogenetic capabilities, cell line development, process development, and preclinical scale-up. Responsibilities include project scoping, technical planning, resource forecasting, scheduling, cross-functional coordination, client communication, supplier collaboration, milestone reporting, dashboard creation, and development of project management standards. The role partners with R&D, technical operations, hardware, business development, and senior leadership to support commercialization and technical execution.

Work with R&D and Bioprocess teams to develop, validate, and run assays characterizing recombinant therapeutic proteins. Perform protein quality analyses (mass, PTMs, aggregation, charge variants), operate and troubleshoot analytical instruments, author methods/SOPs, and ensure GLP-compliant documentation and execution.

Architect and build a scalable software and controls platform connecting illumination hardware, firmware, cloud infrastructure, and internal tooling. Define interfaces, communication layers, and subsystem boundaries; collaborate with firmware, hardware, data, and bioprocess teams; establish engineering practices, deploy cloud-connected services, and contribute hands-on across the stack while shaping long-term technical direction.
