Leads preschool operations, staff recruitment and development, curriculum implementation, enrollment, licensing, accreditation, budgeting, family relations, and health and safety. The director ensures compliance with Louisiana childcare regulations, maintains teacher-child ratios and records, supports professional development, manages schedules and finances, conducts tours, and builds community partnerships. The role requires early childhood leadership experience, relevant credentials, licensing knowledge, Microsoft Office and ProCare proficiency, flexibility, and successful Level 2 background screening.

Manages school marketing, student recruitment, enrollment conversion, application and registration processes, and student retention initiatives. Develops digital, social, email, text, and print campaigns; coordinates outreach events, tours, open houses, and orientations; maintains CRM and student records; follows up with families; monitors marketing and enrollment metrics; and collaborates with school leadership, staff, community partners, and media representatives.

Provides classroom instruction and student supervision when regular elementary teachers are absent. Follows prepared lesson plans, maintains classroom routines and behavior, documents daily activities, follows school policies, protects confidential information, and collaborates with school staff and administrators. Requires a high school diploma or GED, substitute workshop completion, basic computer skills, time management, and strong communication abilities.
