The Educational Assistant supports students with disabilities in academics and behavior under licensed staff guidance. Responsibilities include instructional support, data collection, assistance with daily living, and ensuring a safe learning environment.

Provide direct therapeutic and counseling services to students with IEPs, deliver individual and small-group interventions, develop and monitor counseling-related IEP goals, collaborate with educators, families, and providers, document progress, and support students' social-emotional and behavioral functioning within the school setting.

Lead instructional support for special education across assigned schools, coaching teachers and paraprofessionals, conducting observations, and supporting IEP development and implementation. Use assessment data (FastBridge, NWEA MAP) and progress monitoring to drive program improvement, coordinate services with related providers and families, and support inclusive service delivery and behavioral supports. Serve as an administrative designee at IEP meetings and collaborate with school and network leaders on special education initiatives.

Deliver targeted reading remediation for grades 3-5 through assessments, data-driven small-group and individual instruction, lesson planning, collaboration with teachers and administrators, progress monitoring, and ensuring student safety and supervision within the school environment.
