Eight-week summer internship supporting accounting and finance activities within a real estate development company. Responsibilities include cross-functional collaboration, research and analysis, operational process improvement, project meetings, brainstorming, and preparing a final presentation. Interns gain exposure to construction management, property management, interior design, hospitality, and marketing while receiving mentorship and networking opportunities.

Assists with multifamily property operations, including tenant relations, rent collection, lease compliance, maintenance coordination, budgeting, invoice approval, CAM reconciliations, variance reporting, and supervision of property staff. Supports leasing activities and tenant retention while ensuring property rules and operational processes are followed.

Manages treasury accounting activities, including money market accounts, transfers, reconciliations, journal entries, interest allocation schedules, credit card processes, and financial reporting accuracy. Investigates discrepancies, reviews transactions across accounting systems, reconciles balance sheet and P&L accounts to the general ledger, and supports Treasury management with reports and internal processes.
