Teams at Prime Controls

Designs, programs, tests, documents, and implements industrial automation and control systems. Develops PLC and HMI applications, control architectures, communication strategies, BOMs, test plans, training materials, and simulation logic. Troubleshoots hardware and software issues during startup and service calls, coordinates with installation teams, communicates with customers and vendors, and mentors junior employees. Requires industrial controls experience, PLC programming expertise, Allen-Bradley proficiency, networking knowledge, HMI experience, and an engineering or technical degree.

Engineering Intern supporting instrumentation and controls projects across industrial automation, energy, semiconductor, data center, and water/wastewater markets. Responsibilities include preparing electrical designs, drawings, panel layouts, wiring diagrams, PLC/HMI/SCADA configuration and testing, factory acceptance testing, technical documentation, procurement support, project meetings, and site walkdowns. The internship combines office and active project-site work with mentorship from experienced engineers.

Designs, configures, implements, tests, documents, and supports industrial control systems. Collaborates with project managers, customers, vendors, contractors, and technicians to define functionality, develop BOMs and I/O lists, coordinate installation, troubleshoot startup issues, and resolve hardware/software interfaces. Requires industrial controls and PLC programming experience, Allen Bradley proficiency, construction and safety-system knowledge, scheduling and sequencing skills, BIM coordination, and RFI/submittal development. Travel may reach 50%.
