Manage the Criminal Defense paralegal and support staff team while providing hands-on support for complex DC and federal criminal matters. Responsibilities include case management, legal drafting, electronic filing, discovery coordination, court deadline tracking, trial preparation, client communication, staff training, and maintaining organized case files. The role requires strong criminal defense experience, leadership ability, and proficiency with legal technology.

Manage Virginia personal injury cases through the pre-litigation phase, from intake through settlement or transition to litigation. Maintain client files, obtain and summarize medical records and bills, communicate with clients, medical providers, and insurers, prepare settlement demand packages, track treatment, liens, deadlines, and prepare files for attorney review. Provide responsive, organized case management and assist with lien resolution and settlement negotiations.

Conduct phone consultations for prospective criminal defense and family law clients, assess legal needs, explain firm services, prepare retainer agreements, document notes in CRM/case management systems, and match clients with appropriate attorneys while collaborating with Intake and Marketing to improve acquisition and conversion.
