Serve as a subject matter expert supporting operational readiness, maintenance planning, safety compliance, and lifecycle sustainment of Navy deck operations systems. Provide technical leadership for anchor, windlass, mooring, boat handling, crane, stern gate, amphibious, and underway replenishment systems; conduct inspections, troubleshooting, maintenance oversight, training, coordination with stakeholders, and prepare technical reports and readiness assessments.

Provide technical oversight and SME support for Navy steam propulsion systems, including operations, maintenance planning, engineering assessments, readiness initiatives, and lifecycle sustainment. Mentor personnel, coordinate with shipboard and shore stakeholders, analyze performance data, develop procedures, and prepare technical reports to ensure propulsion plant reliability and compliance with Navy standards.

Provide administrative and clerical support to the Readiness Assistance Training Team, including scheduling, correspondence, records and CDRL tracking, travel management, event and conference logistics, calendar maintenance for senior leaders, document preparation and desktop publishing for reports, briefings, and outreach materials.
