Jobs at Precision Grinding

Programs, sets up, operates, and debugs CMM machines to inspect precision-machined parts. Develops efficient inspection processes, performs complex measurements, records SPC data, troubleshoots tooling and machining issues, and collaborates with machinists and engineering. Trains CMM operators, establishes inspection procedures, supports quality improvement, and completes required documentation while following company policies and quality-system requirements.

Operates CNC mills and lathes to produce precision metal and nonmetal parts. Performs machine adjustments, repeat setups, inspections, preventative maintenance, tooling management, SPC data recording, blueprint analysis, and production paperwork. Supports process debugging and continuous improvement, trains lower-level CNC operators, and verifies spindle speeds, feed rates, cutting depths, and tool positions. Requires basic GD&T knowledge and familiarity with inspection equipment.

Operates CNC lathes, mills, and machining centers to produce parts from metallic and nonmetallic workpieces. Reads traveler packets, prints, tolerances, tooling instructions, and gauging requirements; secures tools and workpieces; monitors machining; makes minor adjustments; inspects dimensional conformance; records SPC data; completes production paperwork and preventive maintenance documentation; and follows safety and quality procedures.

Operates CNC mills and lathes to produce precision metal and nonmetal parts. Sets up tooling and fixtures, interprets blueprints and specifications, makes minor machine adjustments, monitors tooling and machining processes, performs preventive maintenance, inspects parts for dimensional accuracy, and collects SPC data. Completes production paperwork, identifies equipment or process issues, and works independently on moderately complex production jobs.
