Provide hands-on operational support for enterprise network infrastructure, including Cisco switching and routing, firewalls, F5 load balancers, Meraki, IPsec VPNs, and AWS networking. Monitor performance, troubleshoot incidents, review alerts, maintain documentation, implement secure configurations, support risk and vulnerability initiatives, automate recurring tasks, and coordinate with vendors and cybersecurity teams. The role includes first- and second-level support, occasional on-call duties, and participation in network security projects.

Monitor, triage, and investigate cybersecurity alerts across SIEM, EDR, cloud, network, endpoint, and Microsoft security environments. Analyze logs, investigate threats, support incident response and remediation, tune detections, reduce false positives, prepare technical reports, and improve SOC procedures. The role operates within a global 24/7 SOC and requires collaboration with incident response and cybersecurity teams.

Lead the engineering function on a remote consulting mission by setting technical direction, managing and mentoring engineers, driving the roadmap, overseeing complex delivery, improving engineering practices, and partnering with product and business stakeholders. The role requires hands-on technical leadership, architectural judgment, agile expertise, and evaluation of emerging technologies including cloud, AI, and blockchain.
