Supports mechanical engineers and project teams on industrial automation projects involving custom machines, robotics, machine safety, and manufacturing technologies. Assists with mechanical and robotic cell design, drawing review, system testing, troubleshooting, documentation, research, and continuous improvement. Participates in training, jobsite visits, cross-functional rotations, project administration, safety activities, and hazard recognition. Requires current enrollment in a relevant mechanical, robotics, or automation-related degree program.

Processes invoices, requisitions, vendor payments, and employee expense reimbursements accurately and on time. Maintains accounts payable records, resolves invoice holds, follows internal controls, supports process improvements, and provides administrative assistance. The role also promotes workplace safety, maintains documentation, and communicates effectively with field and office teams.

Supports automation engineers on control-system, electrical, mechanical, robotic, PLC, HMI, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and project tasks. Participates in training, safety activities, research, jobsite visits, drawing review, and cross-functional rotations involving automation programming, vision systems, machine safety, and panel building. Assists with document control, reporting, data entry, and continuous improvement while gaining practical industrial automation experience.
