Entry-level utility groundman assisting crews with construction, maintenance, and repair of energized and de-energized distribution, transmission, and substation systems. Performs rigging, excavation, transformer work, voltage checks, installs/removes services, maintains tools/equipment, follows safety protocols and PPE requirements, and works outdoors in varied conditions.

Constructs, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs substation equipment and systems (transformers, breakers, capacitor banks, buswork, control cabling). Works with energized high-voltage systems, maintains vehicles/tools, follows safety procedures, and performs physically demanding outdoor tasks across various locations.

Supervise transmission infrastructure construction projects, directing multiple crews and foremen to meet design, budget, schedule, safety and client expectations. Oversee field activities, equipment upkeep, hiring, documentation, and compliance with DOT/OSHA standards.
