Design low- and medium-voltage switchgear and motor control solutions from concept to completion. Draft electrical construction drawings, create bills of materials, validate designs, produce AC/DC schematics and one-/three-line diagrams, coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional teams, provide technical support to sales and production, and apply NEC/IEEE/ANSI/UL standards while managing project scope, schedule, and budget.

Lead engineering for integration of 3rd-party supplier switchgear packages with Powell products. Review contract files, coordinate with project, procurement and suppliers, manage documentation and compliance, oversee design reviews, testing and inspections, support bids and supply-chain evaluation, provide technical guidance and training, and travel to supplier sites as required.

The Electrical Designer creates electrical systems and plans, ensuring they comply with safety codes. Responsibilities include designing diagrams, selecting components, and collaborating with engineers during various project phases.
