Supervise mill maintenance operations, assign work orders, monitor preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, coordinate contractors, and support operational improvements. Lead safety, OSHA, lockout/tagout, training, crew development, and compliance activities while maintaining equipment efficiency, production performance, and strong interdepartmental relationships.

Leads sawmill and log yard production, maintenance, safety, environmental compliance, budgeting, cost reduction, quality, and capital improvement projects. Plans green-end operations, manages equipment reliability and downtime reduction, develops hourly and salaried employees, supports continuous improvement, and maintains effective labor relations in a union environment. Oversees production and maintenance activities to achieve safe, reliable, high-quality, cost-effective manufacturing performance.

Perform mill-wide industrial cleanup by removing sawdust, chips, bark, and waste. Operate equipment including Bobcats, tractors, sweepers, water trucks, forklifts, loaders, and manlifts. Complete mowing, weed eating, trash detail, firewatch duties, scheduled shifts, overtime, and weekend maintenance support while following safety procedures.
